Meet Geneviève…

“Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow.”

– Mary Anne Radmacher

Bonjour, hello!

My name is Geneviève, you can also call me Gen! My pronouns are she/her/elle, et oui, je suis bilingue.

My practice as a bilingual Registered Provisional Psychologist is rooted in a deep appreciation for each individual’s story, personal struggles, and inherent strengths. We all go through hard times and can benefit from some support to process and find our own best way forward. My goal is to hold a safe space for you within which we will sit and reflect with compassion. Together we can walk the paths you lead us on with connection and vulnerability.

I have experience and training in working with couples, groups, and individuals of all ages and walks of life in both french and english. I strive to maintain a therapeutic experience that is strength-focused, trauma informed while also providing a space that is culturally aware and responsive.

I am trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet my clients wherever they are in developmental level and needs, including Emotion Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) for attachment trauma, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). To improve emotional dysregulation, behavioural challenges, and process traumatic experiences with children I often also incorporate play therapy modalities and for couples I also incorporate the Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

In my personal life, as the Director of our Household Operations, I am kept highly engaged and never bored. I love to create things, exercise, and simply hang out with my spouse, our spirited pre-teen, and affectionate rescue animals.
